Lowri House are offering gardening sessions for you to get into a fun new hobby or rediscover nature in a supportive environment.

Peabody is supporting Mental Health Awareness Month, which is all about moving more for your mental health, gardening sessions provide a gentle opportunity to get moving. Simple activities like this can have a wide range of benefits for your overall wellbeing.

Earnest, Lowri House resident, planted tomatoes, sweet peppers and sweet pea flowers at a recent session. The support staff also got involved and helped re-pot some of the office plants (which had over-grown and had plant babies).

Want to get involved in your community? Visit the resident involvement page to discover what options are available to you and how you can request new activities.
