South London
What you told us and what's happening next.
Your South London Regional Forum gives you a say on services in your area. It's your chance to share your views, hear updates and help improve things where you live.
In February, you met with Peabody colleagues to discuss how you experience our services day to day and what needs to improve:
Repairs and service reliability
You shared your experiences of repairs, including where things work well and where we need to improve. You discussed delays, missed appointments and the impact these issues can have.
Many repairs are carried out by our contractors, so we're improving how we check this work is on track, with regular check-ins from neighbourhood managers and surveyors. We also held a repairs-focused meeting in June to explore issues in more detail and improve how the process works.
My Peabody
We discussed improving how repairs are tracked on My Peabody, including clearer information when repairs are cancelled. We're also working to reduce repeat repairs and introduce new features to make managing appointments easier.
Digital tools shaped by residents
You saw plans for new neighbourhood website pages that will include local contacts, walkabout dates and updates. You told us you'd like to see this information in one place, including contact details and dates for drop-in sessions and local inspections.
Residents also discussed how Peabody uses Al. There will be more opportunities for residents to help inform future priorities.
Over the coming months, we’ll focus on improving repairs, communication, damp and mould, community safety and digital, based on what you told us.

At the latest meeting, you discussed how services are working and where things need to improve.
Repairs and service experience
You shared your experiences of repairs and day-to-day services, including how this is different depending on where you live.
We're using your feedback to understand what's working well and where things need to improve. We'll also invite colleagues from repairs to future forums to share what they're learning and how services can improve.
Making it easier to get involved
You told us that traditional drop-in sessions do not always work for everyone. Some are too far from home or held during the day, when many people can't make it.
Based on your feedback, we'll trial:
- Evening drop-in sessions
- Appointment-based drop-ins, so you have a set time to speak to colleagues
- Online options, so you can choose how to get involved
We'll use your feedback to understand what works best.
What happens next
We've developed an action plan based on what you told us. We'll share progress at every forum meeting, so you can see what's changing.
Over the coming months, we’ll focus on repairs, managing complaints, communication and making it easier for you to have your say.

In February, you met with Peabody colleagues at the Hugh Cubitt Community Centre. Here's what we spoke about:
Getting more people involved
You spoke about encouraging more people to join future meetings. The meeting in June was both in-person and online and we're exploring different venues to make it easier for everyone to join.
Repairs
You shared vour experiences of repairs and discussed the importance of consistency, clear communication and follow-up after something has been reported.
A Repairs Subgroup has now been set up so you can work closely with our teams between forum meetings. This will make it easier to share experiences and have more regular conversations about what's improving and where more work is needed.
Digital
We discussed improvements to My Peabody, including clearer tracking of repairs and easier ways to understand what's happening. Your feedback is helping inform these changes.
Plans for new neighbourhood web pages were also welcomed. These will include local contacts, updates and key dates.

In March, you met with Peabody teams at the Unity Centre in Brent for the recent forum. Here's what we spoke about:
Clearer communication and local teams
You told us that knowing who to contact, especially your neighbourhood manager, makes a real difference. Some of you said this information isn't always easy to find.
We're making this clearer across newsletters, magazines and neighbourhood website pages.
We're also looking at your ideas, including more drop-in sessions and estate walkabouts, to make it easier to get in touch with your local team.
Repairs
You shared a mix of experiences with repairs. Some repairs were sorted quickly and others took longer than it should have.
We've opened a new repairs hub in Kensington, making it easier for you to report repairs and get updates.
We're also running regular local sessions where you can raise repairs and get issues sorted more quickly. Inspectors are checking repairs to improve quality and reduce delays.
Community safety
You asked for clearer information about what happens when you report antisocial behaviour and how we support residents through it.
We’re continuing to work with the police and local authorities to support residents experiencing antisocial behaviour.
Over the coming months, we’ll focus on improving repairs, communication, damp and mould and community safety, based on your feedback.
We’ll keep you updated so you can see what’s changing.
