January 2026 Newsletter
With 2026 underway, we would like to share the first of your monthly updates about development work at Fish Island Village.
As mentioned in December’s newsletter, we’ll now be updating this webpage on a monthly basis, rather than every two weeks, and you’ll get a newsletter every two months. This means you’ll get fewer communications from us with more meaningful information included.
Here’s a summary of what has been happening since the last update on Friday 12 December:
- New bollards were installed around the play area at Fish Island Village. These will help manage traffic, improve the safety of those using the park and reduce damage to the paving stones.
- 350 homes have now had their Heat Interface Unit serviced by TBrown.
- There was an issue with the car park gate not closing over the holiday period, which has now been fixed.
Here is what we expect to be happening next at Fish Island Village:
- The procurement process for the new concierge service is progressing, with FIVRA and Peabody recently reviewing and shortlisting applicants. We’ll be interviewing candidates in early February.
- Valves for Heat Interface units will continue to be replaced across phase 3.
- There has been a connectivity issue with the Insite Smart Meter in some homes, which has led to inaccurate readings being displayed and issues with heating and hot water. The team have been looking into this, testing connections and implementing fixes.
- Planting of trees, shrubs and other greenery is expected to take place during Spring.
