Your impact
You know your neighbourhoods best. Over the last year, you shared your experiences', helped us make better decisions about your communities and worked with colleagues to improve our services.
Your voice in action
Improving the way we write
Your feedback led to changes in the way we write. You reviewed the letters we send and told us how they could be better. Colleagues then completed Better Writing training to make our communications easier to understand.
Bringing residents' voices to the Board
Residents spoke to the Board at Resident Voice sessions and raised concerns about neighbourhood safety, getting younger residents involved and improving our services. These sessions help make sure future decisions are informed by residents' experiences.
Building trust in your community
Residents raised serious concerns about damp, mould and disrepair in Nag's Head estate in Tower Hamlets. We invested £3 million in improvements and are working with residents to design changes. This includes creating two community gardens, new bin stores, introducing a community launderette and improvements to ventilation across the estate.
Making changes to the Contact Centre
Your Resident-Led Panel reviewed how things are working in our Contact Centre. The panel listened to calls to understand what could be improved. The review led to more regular updates, Live Chat on our website and a callback service. More residents reported receiving kind, helpful and clear support from our Contact Centre.
