Victor experienced homeless after leaving his ex-partner. We helped him recover and find a home.

“After I fled domestic violence last year, I was living in my car for three months. I was referred for the outreach service and my support worker, Hayley, helped me through this difficult time. She gave me a tremendous amount of support.

“She found me temporary accommodation at a hostel and shared knowledge and resources that aided my situation. She connected me to support from Street Link and helped me access the Essential Living Fund.

“She also played an essential role in making sure I was not forgotten by the system. Because of her, I was treated properly in my housing need and given the right duty of care. She took great care of me due to the volatility of my mental health, and always made sure I was doing okay.

“As a result, I am now comfortably living in a flat that is suitable for me, away from the abuse and able to start a fresh life.

“I want to express my deepest gratitude to Hayley for the life-changing support she provided me. I would not be where I am today without her unwavering dedication. I am forever grateful to Peabody for their invaluable work in helping me rebuild my life.
