Anyone of us can experience domestic abuse, at any point in our lives. The impact can be significant and long lasting. It’s common for those affected to also experience mental health issues. We want to support you.

Where to find help

If you’re worried about your relationship, or someone else’s, you may find it helpful to reach out to a specialist domestic abuse service:

  • You can find help from Refuge 24/7 on 0808 2000 247 or use their live chat
  • You can find your local domestic abuse service by searching domestic abuse service in your area on Google
  • You can download the Bright Sky app, if safe to do so, for a range of support services, case studies and guidance.

We’re also here to help. You can contact us on 0300 123 3456 or online. One of our trained Community Safety Specialists will call you back at a time that suits you, listen and discuss how we can help you.

You can also check your local community centre for Safe Spaces where you can discreetly search for help. We currently have Safe Spaces at Darwin Court, Pembury Community Centre and The Nest.

In an emergency, always dial 999.
