Motion wins big at the British Homes Awards 2021

Our Motion development in Waltham Forest (above) won Apartment of the Year at this year's British Homes Awards.

Designed by Pollard Thomas Edwards Architects, Motion is part of our joint venture with housebuilder Hill and includes 300 new homes well as 18,000 square feet of commercial space.

The British Homes Awards celebrate excellence in housebuilding from architectural and interior design through to build quality and innovation. Here are some comments from judges about Motion:

"Courtyard layouts allow for outlook onto quiet green space and encourages community. Development plays an important waymarking role on the Lea Bridge Road."

"The homes are generous, light-filled and well planned. An exciting contribution to the housing offer in London."

The Reach wins Best Affordable Housing Development at the Inside Housing Awards

The Reach in West Thamesmead provides 66 much needed, high-quality affordable homes.

Designed by Pitman Tozer Architects, it was the first Peabody development to be completed in Thamesmead, and is the first development in one of Thamesmead’s two GLA Housing Zones, which together will provide £47.5m of investment, and support our wider ambitions for the £1billion redevelopment of the town.

As well as the Inside Housing Development Awards win, The Reach also made the shortlist at the 2021 Architects’ Journal Architecture Awards.
