Making the most of your outdoor space? Show off your flowerpots, hanging baskets and greenery on your balcony this spring. Enter the balcony garden competition. 

Balcony gardens bring joy and colour to your home. They can also be calming spaces where you relax, unwind and enjoy the outdoors. 

Terms and conditions

Eligibility  
The competition is open to Peabody residents aged 18 years or older. 

Entry limit 
Only one entry is permitted per person. Multiple entries will not be accepted, so make sure all your plants are in the photo.

Judging criteria

  • Overall appearance: balconies that are well cared for, safe and tidy
  • Creativity: how you’ve made the most of your space, big or small
  • Effort and care: the love and attention you’ve put into your plants 

You don’t need expensive plants or a large balcony to enter. We’re celebrating the joy of gardening. Judges’ decisions are final and not subject to appeal. 

Prize
One winner will be selected to receive a £50 Amazon voucher. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternatives. 

Publication and promotion
By entering, participants consent to Peabody sharing and displaying their submitted images for promotional purposes on digital and print platforms. 

Ownership rights
Participants retain ownership of their submitted photos. However, by submitting, they grant Peabody the right to reproduce and publish their images for promotional use. 

Notification of prize
The winner will be contacted via email within one week of the contest closing. If no response is received within seven days, an alternative winner may be chosen. 

Data privacy
Any personal data collected during the competition will be used solely for administration and winner contact. It will not be shared with third parties without consent. 

Governing law
This competition is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled exclusively by the courts of England and Wales.
