Poppies

On Tuesday 11 November, we’ll mark Armistice Day. It’s a time to pause and remember those who have lost their lives in conflicts since the end of the First World War.

Across the UK, people will observe a two-minute silence at 11am. If you’d like to take part and are able to do so, please join in to pay your respects.

If you’re not observing the silence, please be considerate of colleagues and neighbours who are.

Remembering our history

During the First World War, at least 3,000 residents from our London estates served in the armed forces. At least 400 of them lost their lives. Several were recognised for their bravery, and four of our estates still have memorials in their honour.
