We are working with Bexley Council to undertake a resident consultation on parking in the area around the Abbey Wood Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ).

Published: 27/11/2024

Abbey Wood is a major mainline station in Bexley. This is a transport hub that attracts people from outside the area to park close to the station. Due to the fact there is a CPZ in place around Abbey Wood Station, it has been reported to the Council that there may be parking pressure in your area.

Since the opening of the Elizabeth Line there have been significant changes to traffic in the area which may have put pressure on residents’ ability to park near their homes.

We know that there will be many residents who have driveways and off-street parking and you may feel this is not an issue to you and may not choose to take part in this consultation. However, we strongly recommend you fill in the survey, as a decision will be made by Peabody which may affect what happens in your street.

The Council is therefore asking residents to take part in this consultation, which will inform the Council and Ward Councillors of the issues you may be facing regarding parking, and influence the decisions that are made.

Have your say

The consultation period will run from 27 November to 16 December. You can give us your views by filling in the form below. If you have requested a paper form, you must return this to us by 16 December.
