Peabody and Hill are committed to working with you over the lifetime of the regeneration. There will be opportunities to get involved in whatever way suits you best.

The first stage of involvement work was in the run-up to the submission of the planning application in 2022. Over the course of around a year and a half, we had conversations with over 300 residents about our plans.

Going forward there will be many more opportunities to help shape the area in the future, from our resident liaison group to consultation on future phases of the development.

Resident Liaison Group

We’re setting up a Resident and Business Liaison Group this spring, comprising up to eight members of the local community.

There has been keen interest from a number of local groups during our planning consultation period and we’ll ensure those groups are represented. The group will meet regularly in person or online to discuss progress and provide feedback on the demolition and construction of the scheme.

Apprenticeships and training

There will be exciting opportunities for apprenticeships and training throughout the development and are currently finalising the apprenticeships and training plan. Working with the Council, we’ll be looking to recruit local labour and apprentices throughout the development, starting later this year.

Keep your eyes peeled for more information in the coming months.

Your feedback

Working with the community is at the heart of what we do, and by listening to those who know the area best, we can create a new neighbourhood for everyone to enjoy.
