Our neighbourhood noticeboard is a space for sharing local updates, community activities and helpful information for residents. To keep the noticeboard useful and welcoming for everyone, we ask that all submissions follow the guidelines below.
What you can post
We welcome notices that are relevant to people living in the neighbourhood, such as:
- Local community events or activities
- Resident-led initiatives or groups
- Volunteering opportunities
- Items being given away locally (where appropriate)
- Local information that may be useful to neighbours
- Community notices such as meetings, classes or social activities
Notices should be relevant to the local area and of interest to residents living nearby.
What we cannot publish
To keep the noticeboard safe and appropriate for all residents, we cannot publish notices that include:
- Political content, campaigns or party-political messages
- Content that is offensive, discriminatory, abusive or inappropriate
- Complaints about individuals, neighbours or Peabody services
- Advertising for businesses or commercial services
- Content promoting products, sales or paid services
- Personal disputes or grievances
- Information that could put someone’s safety or privacy at risk
If you have a service issue or complaint, please contact Peabody directly rather than posting it on the noticeboard.
Moderation
All notices are reviewed before they appear on the website.
Peabody may edit submissions for clarity, length or suitability. We also reserve the right not to publish notices that do not meet these guidelines.
Keeping it local
To help keep the noticeboard useful, please make sure:
- Your notice relates to the local neighbourhood or nearby area
- The information is clear and accurate
- You include relevant dates, locations or contact details
