Changes to how you make rent and service charge payments

Older Woman Looking At Laptop

On Wednesday 1 October 2025, we’re changing our payment provider from allpay to PayPoint. For most people nothing will change, but for some it could change how you pay.

Published: 28/08/2025

What this means

If you pay by Direct Debit

You don’t need to do anything, we’ll switch the payment provider for you and continue taking your regular payments. The only difference you’ll see is that your bank statement will now show Peabody Trust.

We will write to you to confirm the move from allpay to PayPoint.

If you pay using allpay

From Wednesday 1 October 2025, you won’t be able to make online payments through allpay. Instead, you’ll need to make payments through My Peabody

If you pay using My Peabody

If you pay online through your My Peabody account, nothing will change. The logo and confirmation page may look slightly different.

If you pay over the phone

If you pay by debit or credit card over the phone, nothing will change.

If you pay with a rent card

If you currently pay with your rent card at the Post Office, you’ll now need to use a PayPoint location instead.

You can use your card to pay at any shop that displays the PayPoint logo, but it will no longer work at the Post Office.

You can pay by cash, debit card or credit card as normal, just take your card and payment to the counter and tell the staff how much you’d like to pay.

Find your nearest pay point

You may be able to keep your current card, if not, we’ll send you a new one.

Looking for easier ways to pay?

The easiest way to pay is by Direct Debit or online using My Peabody

You can set up a Direct Debit through My Peabody or call us on 0300 123 3456

You can also use My Peabody to make a payment.
