Could you be our new Resident Board Member? Join us and help shape decisions about your homes, services and communities.

You’ll bring your perspective as a Peabody resident and offer advice on how we can better meet the needs of Peabody residents. 

You’ll be part of a team passionate about social housing, helping to shape the future of Peabody. You don’t need prior Board experience, but we’re looking for someone who can share their skills, bring their experience as a Peabody resident, help plan our future and support our purpose and vision

The Board currently has 12 members, including two Resident Board Members. It’s made up of people from different backgrounds, each with different skill sets and experiences. 

What do I need to know? 

  • This is a part-time role, and you’ll need to commit to two days a month to attend board meetings and other events
  • This is a paid role with an annual salary of £15,000 and we’ll help with necessary expenses
  • You’ll be given training and ongoing support to help you succeed in the role

Who can apply?  

We're looking for a Peabody social housing resident who isn't a shared owner or leaseholder, as the Board already includes members from those groups. You’ll also need to be aged 18 or over.
