How to register for a transfer from your home.
Following our recent merger, we have now combined our internal transfer waiting lists into one which is accessible to all Peabody social-rented tenants. This means that residents wishing to move to a new Peabody home now have a wider range of areas to choose from.
Applicants will be able to bid on homes themselves, providing their application meets the property criteria. This choice-based lettings system is called HomeHunt - you can learn more about Homehunt here.
If you would like to apply to join our transfer list, please register on the HomeHunt website. The registration process is very straightforward but there is further guidance here. Please be sure to update us of any changes to your household prior to applying as we can only only accept applications where the details you enter onto your application match our records.
Who can register?
All Peabody social rented tenants can register for a transfer, but priority will be given to those who meet our priority transfer eligibility criteria, as detailed in our transfer policy. If you do not fall into one of the priority bands, it is less likely we will be able to offer you a transfer to another home and you should consider alternative housing options.
If you have any questions, lease contact the Rehousing Options Team on 020 7021 4444.
We're one of the oldest and largest housing associations in London. Following the merger with Family Mosaic in June 2017, the Peabody Group now owns and manages more than 55,000 homes across London and the South East, housing over 111,000 residents. We also have 8,000 care and support customers.
Peabody runs an extensive number of community programmes which are open to all Londoners.
