Who we are

Intercultural Roots is a UK register charity dedicated to foster spaces for creative practices for Health and Wellbeing. We promote arts for health and social change through a variety of educational and artistic events

About the workshops

Dr. Almiro Andrade (Black Queer Latinx actor, director, playwright, dramaturg, educationist, and theatre translator), and Dr. Andrea Maciel - (Performer, Director and Educationist with theatre, dance and somatic background) will facilitate the workshops which will invite participants to express themselves in a non-judgmental space and engage in a playful collaborative theatre dynamic.

This social applied theatre intends to reverse vicious cycles of deprivation through empowering those living with fear and violence.

We provide Child Care services for the parents who would like to attend the workshop.
