Dogs barking is not anti-social behaviour unless it’s persistent.
It is natural for dogs to bark from time to time but if it’s persistent or if it’s late at night it can be a nuisance.
If you are being disturbed by a neighbour’s barking dog you should first try speaking to them about it or leave a polite note or use our “Dear neighbour” card or request it from our Customer service team.
You can also report barking dogs to your local authority Environmental Health Team.
If you are concerned for the safety or a dog or that a dog is aggressive, please contact the RSPCA or call immediately on 0300 1234 999.
