Peabody in the news

Learn to ride a bike, improve your skills or just come for a ride around Thamesmead with your family.

“Nothing compares to the simple pleasure of riding a bike," said John F Kennedy.

Learn to ride or rediscover the skills involved, find out if your bike passes Dr Bike's health checks, and learn the essentials of bike maintenance in our one day Thamesmead Bike Day at Thamesmead Leisure Centre on Sunday 6 March 2016.

Everyone aged seven and over is welcome to attend!

Do I need a bike?

Not at all. Bikes will be provided free if required for the family training sessions, and bike hire will be available for a £1 fee (plus a £20 deposit) on the day.

Everyone aged seven and above is very welcome to attend.
