Come to our celebrations on Friday 4 December.

Join us at the Clock Tower in Thamesmead's Town Centre betweem 4pm and 9pm on Friday 4 December 2015 to celebrate switching on the Christmas lights.

Last year's Santa at Thamesmead

There'll be carol singing, Santa's grotto, face painting, community stalls and we'll also be switching on the Christmas lights.

And if you want to dress up to celebrate the occasion, there'll also be a prize for the best Christmas fancy dress outfit.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Peabody’s Interim Executive Director of Thamesmead, Pauline Ford said: "The switching on of the lights signals the start of Christmas and we aim to have this as a continuing part of the festivities in Thamesmead.

We also look forward to continuing our work with residents, and both the London Borough of Bexley and Royal Borough of Greenwich, to help shape the future of Thamesmead."

The lights switch on will take place at 6pm when the winner of the night’s Christmas fancy dress competition will be announced. Don’t forget your outfit!
