Making a difference in the community
Danielle Frost, Assistant Youth Development Co-ordinator, has worked with lots of young people who have used this grant to make a difference in their community. She told us:
"Last summer, a young man from Newham organised a fun day. He arranged activities and provided lunch for local children, and also brought in support groups who gave useful information to parents.
"To help him organise his event, our team created a sensory room as well as leading art, sports and cooking activities with the children. Volunteers from the community youth club were also on hand to support the activities.
Everyone had a great time and it was a fantastic experience for this young man."
How can I apply?
