Peabody in the news

A good time was had by all at our recent party in Westminster.

On Saturday 30 June we held a celebration to mark the end of our work on outside space improvements at Wild Street in WC2.

These improvements include a new water main, road structure and surfacing, and repaired drainage. There's also a new playground and parking options.

In addition to these changes, there are also now beds for growing food and tree and shrubs.

About 150 people came along and children enjoyed the bouncy castle, face painting, headband making and games. There was music and refreshments too, of course, which included popcorn and ice cream.

Local police joined in the fun too, letting children sit in their vehicles and work the siren. They also ran a quiz and showed people how to take fingerprints.

Residents have told us that they love their new open space. It means that  they can get out and about more, stay active and meet up with their neighbours.
