Community health and wellbeing grant - up to £5,000 available
The Peabody Community Fund is awarding grants of up to £5,000 if you can demonstrate how our residents could benefit from your community work.
Here's your chance to receive a grant of between £500 to £5,000 from The London Community Found. All you have to do is let us know how our residents could benefit from the work you do in the community.
The London Community Foundation was set up to provide activities to improve the quality of life of Peabody residents through identified community needs and health and wellbeing projects. Community and resident groups who deliver programmes in Thamesmead are being given the opportunity to bid for the funding.
Total available: Grants of between £500 and £5,000 are awarded for activities which improve the quality of life of Peabody residents

Peabody's Director of Programmes, Community Investment, Veronica Kirwan said: "This programme is a fantastic opportunity for those who work in our communities to access funding for their chosen activity or project to help make a real difference to the lives of Peabody residents."

This is the fourth year of the Peabody Community Fund, in partnership with The London Community Foundation, with £150,000 available for groups across London (£25,000 of funding ring-fenced for Thamesmead).
- Applications which best fit the Community Grants programme themes and priority areas will be shortlisted.
- Applicants will then be contacted by a Programme Manager from The London Community Foundation for an informal chat to find out more about their project which will be presented to The Peabody Community Fund panel.
- Both successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified about their outcome in writing.
