Thamesmead Festival

This year's Festival will take place during the weekend of 15-17 September.

Celebrate the past, present and future of Thamesmead during the Thamesmead Festival weekend. It features the best of Thamesmead’s creative talent as we celebrate all things created in Thamesmead.

Whether you want to showcase your talent - or your pets - volunteer, or manage a stall, we want to hear from you.

Thamesmead Town Fete

One of the main attractions over the three-day event is the ‘Wish you were here’ Thamesmead Town fete which will take place on Saturday, 16 September, 2-7pm.

The fete will feature a talent show providing the perfect opportunity for residents who live in Thamesmead and the surrounding areas to shine on stage. There will also be a number of stalls which local community groups and organisations can apply for.

Spaces are limited so get in touch now.

We are also looking for animals to take part in the new annual Thamesmead Pet Show. All pets are welcome.

Peabody’s Head of Culture, Adriana Marques said: "This is a unique opportunity for residents to get involved in the Thamesmead Festival, whether they are an individual or part of a group or organisation and would like to volunteer, have a stall or the chance to perform. We want as many people as possible to get involved."
