Last year Peabody built over 1,000 new homes for Londoners to buy and rent. Here’s a flavour:

St Johns

St John's Hill
Our major regeneration project at the 1930s St John’s Hill estate in Battersea, involves replacing the existing 351 homes with 538 new ones over three phases.

We completed phase 1 in April, which includes 153 new homes, high quality landscaping and play areas.

Darbishire Place

Darbishire Place
Designed by Niall McLaughlin Architects, Darbishire Place was shortlisted for the prestigious RIBA Stirling Prize in 2015. 

This new development of 13 new affordable homes at Peabody’s Whitechapel Estate, blends in perfectly with the five older blocks surrounding it.

Coopers Road

Coopers Road
We are pleased to have completed 47 new homes at Coopers Road, Southwark, 77% of which are affordable.

This is the final phase in the estate regeneration works which began in 2000, and was shaped by extensive consultation with existing residents.

Rosendale Road
At Rosendale Road in Lambeth we have completed 12 new homes and a state-of-the-art community centre, designed by award-winning architects Haworth Tompkins.

The new homes are mixture of flats and houses, which complement the existing early 20th-century buildings and local conservation area.

Sun Flour Mill

Milkwood Road
The 42 new affordable homes at Milkwood Road in Lambeth have been praised for their high-quality design. Key features include a communal roof terrace and childrens'play area.

All homes in the scheme are affordable, including 34 shared ownership and 8 for affordable rent.

Chancery Building, Embassy Gardens
The Chancery Building is part of the landmark Vauxhall Nine Elms Battersea regeneration scheme, one of the largest and most exciting regeneration schemes in Europe.

The block is part of Ballymore’s Embassy Gardens development, close to the US Embassy, and consists of 98 shared ownership homes.

Devons Road

Devon’s Road Phase 1
259 new mixed-tenure homes were built in the first phase of our Devon’s Road development in Bow.

This includes 59 for social rent, 40 for shared ownership and 160 private sale homes. This first phase also includes eight commercial units, as well as a communal landscaped court yard and play areas throughout.

Plaistow Hospital
A competition-winning scheme for Peabody, this landmark development incorporates a variety of retained, historic Victorian buildings which were part of the former Plaistow Hospital, to provide 169 new homes and community facilities.

At Silchester we are working with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to deliver a major regeneration project adjacent to Latimer Road station.

Designed by 2014 RIBA Stirling Prize winning architects Haworth Tompkins, the development includes 112 new mixed tenure homes, community and retail facilities.

Gillender (phase 1)
This development includes 109 studio, 1 and 2 bedroom homes featuring energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly technology such as solar panels.

The landscaped outside spaces and nearby transport connections complement homes beautifully designed for 21st century living.

Wandsworth High Street
Completed in 2015, this development includes 22 high-quality new homes for affordable rent and shared ownership.

This scheme has replaced a vacant and unattractive office block with a high-quality mixed use building at the heart of Wandsworth Town Centre.

A smart new development in Battersea which provides modern and attractive affordable homes for Wandsworth residents on lower incomes.
