Open House London: 17–18 September
Get ready to explore the amazing architecture in every London neighbourhood, including six Peabody locations.
Open House London is the capital's largest annual festival of architecture and design, giving access to over 750 buildings and sites for one weekend.
This year's event will be held on 17-18 September and six Peabody locations will be open:
The UK's first large-scale mixed use eco-village and sustainable community.
Open: Saturday 17 September 10am-1pm. (guided tours on the hour).
- Priory Green
Designated a conservation area, this has an old laundry building and some of the most sculptural stairways ever designed for social housing.
Open: Saturday 17 September 10am-4pm. (guided tours on the hour).
- Darbishire Place
Designed by Niall McLaughlin Architects, Darbishire Place was shortlisted for the prestigious RIBA Stirling Prize in 2015.
Open: Saturday 17 September 10am-1pm.
- St John’s Hill
Phase 1 of our major regeneration project includes 153 new homes, high quality landscaping and play areas.
Open: Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September 10am-1pm. (regular tours). Further details

Designed by 2014 RIBA Stirling Prize winning architects Haworth Tompkins, the development includes 112 new mixed tenure homes, community and retail facilities.
Open: Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 11am-12noon.
- Mint Street
These 67 homes are built next to a new business centre for local enterprises. Both projects, with a new pedestrianised street, make a real difference to this previously neglected corner of Bethnal Green.
Open: Saturday 17 September 10am-1pm. (guided tours every 45 mins).
You can also take part in neighbourhood walks, engineering and landscape tours, cycle rides and experts’ talks – all for free.
