The mixed tenure scheme of 268 new homes in Hackney was designed by Fraser Brown MacKenna to be a peaceful place to live with an emphasis on community-building.

Also, the launch of Peabody’s new sales service and sales website,, is up for best marketing campaign.

These awards are organised by the National Housing Federation, and celebrate excellence in affordable housing. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on 10 September.

Peabody Chief Executive Stephen Howlett commented:

"We are thrilled to be recognised by these prestigious awards, which highlight some fantastic achievements across the sector. As well as introducing outstanding private sale and shared ownership properties to a city that’s facing a shortage of good new homes, we are also working with our partners to provide new homes on our existing Pembury Estate, and deliver a comprehensive programme of support for the community."

Sarah Butler, Director of Sales & Marketing said:

"We are delighted to be short-listed for Best Marketing Campaign at the 2015 National Housing Awards.  This nomination represents collaborative working across Peabody to deliver a dedicated sales website.  Our integrated marketing campaign has enhanced the Peabody brand as a developer of new homes and supports our ambitious targets."

 Andrew Peglau, Marketing Manager added:

"The campaign demonstrates a truly market-led approach.  By first understanding our target market through market research, we were able to develop a product that met customers’ needs and wants.  To be recognised for this within the sector is a true accomplishment."
