Oii My Size nominated for a UK Sexual Health Award

Peabody youth project Oii My Size is among the finalists at the UK Sexual Health Awards, held in aid of sexual health charities Brook and the Family Planning Association.

The Awards recognise outstanding people, projects, services, campaigns and media in sexual health. Oii My Size is shortlisted for the Pamela Sheridan Sex and Relationships Education Award.

Oii My Size lead campaigners: (L-R) Sana Sodki, Savannah Ali and Shanice George

Run as part of our Big Lottery-funded Staying Safe project, "Oii My Size" is a youth-led campaign which seeks to educate young men on how to improve their interactions with young women. The website offers a unique glimpse into youth culture and gives excellent advice on avoiding the pitfalls that accompany the advantages of growing up in the internet age.

Young Campaign Leader Savannah Ali said:

“We are incredibly proud to be shortlisted for this prestigious award from such a fantastic charity, whose mission is so closely linked to ours at Oii My Size. Young people across the country know Brook and their great work, so we are delighted to have our campaign for positive relationships and respect recognised by Brook and the Family Planning Association.”

The winners will be announced at a prestigious ceremony on Friday 14 March.
