Tips on reducing your fuel bills and energy usage.

Each week, our sustainability team will share energy-saving tips that can help you save money.

This week's tip is around:

If your home heating uses a gas boiler, the best way to use it is by using the programmer.

You can set it to come on before you get up, and go off before you go to bed.

If you’re out of the house during the day, it's cheaper to program your heating to turn off while you’re out, and have it come on about 30 minutes to one hour before you get home.

We know that boiler programmers can be quite complex. That’s why we have a home energy advice service. Our advisors can visit your home and help you set your boiler. They’ll also show you how to save money off your fuel bills.
