    This is a eight weeks course for women and girls aged 16+

  • Pembury rent surgery

    We are holding weekly drop-in rent surgery at the Pembury Community Centre. This is an opportunity to ask any questions relating to your rent and we'll be available to advice you.

  • Parking permit holders: renewals

    If your permit is within 1 month of expiry and you have NOT received a renewal form from MET Parking Services, please call them on:

    0845 370 8004 (Mon–Fri, 10am–5pm) or email

    Vehicles on estates with parking enforcement must display a valid parking permit or otherwise be subject to a Parking Charge Notice. 

    It's the permit holder's responsibility to renew.

    Join our fashion and textiles project for young women, and develop your creative skills.

    You’ll have the chance to

    • Design and make clothes and jewellery
    • Go to galleries, museums and exhibitions including Clothes Show Live
    • Take part in fashion and catwalk shows

    Drop in at the Pembury Centre (the yellow cabin on Dalston Lane)

    • Tuesdays, 4pm–8pm (ages 14–18)
    • Saturdays,11am–3pm (ages 10–13)

    Join us for activities including music, dance, drama and sport including football coaching through Leyton Orient Kickz.

    Drop in at the Pembury Community Hall (in front of the football cage).

    • Mondays 6pm–8.30pm (ages 8–12)
    • Wednesdays 6.30pm–9pm (ages 13–17)
    • Saturdays 1.30pm–4.30pm – football session

  • Support for older residents

    Get support with issues such as accessing care, applying for grants and requesting aids and adaptations. Please contact Vanessa Greenstreet, Peabody Support Worker, on 07714 270742.

  • Parent looking for education, training or work?

    Our Pembury Pathways project can help.

    Parent Adviser Lorraine Bradshaw-Cole leads the project. She can help you with finding the right course, thinking through your options, and arranging childcare.

    Lorraine is based at the Pembury Estate Office during office hours, so call her on 020 7021 4864 or drop in to 57 Shellness Road, London E5 8JU.

    Breakfast club 

    8am–9am Mon–Fri
    Children are given a healthy breakfast and can be taken to school if needed.

    After-school club

    4pm–6pm Mon–Fri
    Offers children different activities each day, as well as a healthy snack. Children can also be collected from school if needed.

  • Calling All Young Actors

    We need performers aged 11 to 16.

    Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings 7:30 – 8:45 during term time in BSix college Theatre.

    If you like acting, singing, dancing or any other part of theatre, please get in touch.

    No auditions necessary. Just enthusiastic young people with a passion to perform!

Guidance for submitting posts on the noticeboards

Some examples:

  • An event that’s happening in your area/ neighbourhood
  • Information about tenants and residents association meetings
  • Promoting an initiative that you are involved in
  • You’ve lost or found an item

Report an issue
