Free computer training sessions, IT training and internet lessons
Net Worx offers free computer classes, IT training and internet lessons.
Come along to our Net Worx digital inclusion programme which offers free computer training sessions and internet lessons at many of our community centres across London - connecting volunteer teachers with people who want to learn about computers and get online.
To find out more, or if you would like to join the computer training sessions, you can either call 0800 022 4040 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Our volunteers offer one-to-one tuition and support during the sessions to help you improve your IT skills while learning to use the internet. This will enable you to:
- communicate with friends and family
- access public services (eg, the NHS and HMRC)
- access entertainment
- go shopping online
- search for information on the internet
- set up and use email
- use social media (eg Facebook and Twitter)
- apply for jobs
- use your smartphone and devices

You just need a good understanding of basics like Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer. You do not require any previous teaching experience or an expert knowledge of teaching IT-related topics. All you require is a good knowledge and understanding of IT as well as the passion to support others to enable them to improve their IT skills.
In return for your time and hard work, we are able to offer a broad range of training opportunities, reimburse your travel costs, as well as provide references for future employment.Volunteer as a Net Worx IT tutor
