Employee benefits

At Peabody, we offer staff a package of financial, social and work/life benefits that compares favourably with similar organisations. Staff benefits include:

Annual leave
Basic annual leave entitlement is 25 days per annum (28 days for senior staff), which increases after five and ten years' service. 

Pension
All fixed term and permanent staff are entitled to join the money purchase pension scheme.

Season ticket loan
After three months' service, staff can apply for an interest free season ticket loan.

Insurance schemes
Peabody has group personal accident insurance which covers all employees, group life assurance for staff who have completed 12 months' service, and the option of private healthcare for staff after five years' service (or for senior staff from their start date).

Subsidised restaurant
Peabody's central office benefits from an on-site subsidised staff restaurant. Services offered by the staff restaurant include breakfast, coffee bar, deli and salad bar and a wide selection of meals.

Childcare vouchers scheme
We offer a flexible way to assist staff who are parents to meet the costs of childcare, by teaming up with 'Busy Bees' to provide a scheme which works by 'sacrificing' part of their pre-tax salary in exchange for childcare vouchers.

Counselling
Empathy is a 24-hour confidential counselling service for staff, run through an independent occupational healthcare company, which can provide assistance for our staff or their immediate families.

Cycle to work scheme
We have signed up to the Cycle to Work scheme, which is part of the government's Green Transport Plan, promoting healthier journeys to work and reducing environmental pollution. The scheme allows employees to purchase a bicycle via a salary sacrifice (hire) option.

Social environment
Peabody is a lively, fun, yet professional place to work. A range of activities is organised throughout the year, giving staff an opportunity to mix in a relaxed environment.
