Finding affordable insurance is often difficult for London's social housing tenants, who face high premiums because of where they live and can even be refused insurance altogether. Peabody has therefore arranged for residents to benefit from a low-cost home contents insurance scheme.
The insurance is available to most Peabody tenants and leaseholders, including those on the lowest incomes. It provides tailor-made cover at a competitive flat-rate premium, regardless of postcode.
This scheme is arranged, in association with the National Housing Federation's, with My Home Contents Insurance Scheme, which is underwritten by Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance plc.
