Motorbikes and mopeds

Enforcement on motorbikes and mopeds came into effect from 3 August 2009.

We have appointed London Parking Control (LPC) to patrol and enforce our Parking and Sub-Units policy on the majority of our estates. All motorbikes and mopeds need to be registered with LPC. They will keep a list of registered motorbikes and mopeds so you will not be expected to place a permit on these vehicles. All other vehicles being parked on estates need to display a valid permit as well as a valid tax disc.

Registered motorbikes and mopeds can be parked anywhere on the estate providing they’re not causing an obstruction and abide by the local parking restrictions on the estate. If you have visitors who are motorbike or moped users they will also need to register their vehicles with LPC.

To register your motorbike you need to contact LPC and provide them with copies of the:

  • log book
  • insurance
  • proof of residency
  • full UK driving license

For further information on registering your vehicle, contact London Parking Control, tel: 0844 800 4764 or visit the website: http://www.londonparkingcontrol.co.uk/

Enforcement on motorbikes and mopeds will come into effect from 3 August 2009.

Failure to register your vehicle may result in your vehicle being clamped or towed away. Visitors will also need to register their moped or motorcycle.
