    Dea music academy

    Have you always wanted  to play a musical instrument? Now's your chance!

    DEA Music Academy provides the highest standard of teaching through an excellent team of musicians who have performing careers and a wealth of teaching experience.
    DEA welcomes students of all ages. It offers individual classes, lessons in pairs and group courses for:

    • piano
    • guitar
    • violin
    • singing
    • group therapy classes

    They offer free consultation lessons, and Peabody residents enjoy special discounts.

  • Silver Linings Volunteering Clubs

    Social activities and fun for Hackney's over 50s.

    Come along to your local Silver Linings Club. It's for people over 50 to meet others regularly and lend a hand in Hackney.

  • Social Dances in Leyton

    Are you looking for leisure time with health benefits? Would you like to meet new people?

    Look no further. Join our social dances! Try new dance styles such as Quadrille, Charleston, Bollywood and Lindy Hop. Professional dancers will be on hand to teach you the steps and music will be provided by DJ Jerome Anderson. Refreshments are provided.

  • Pembury rent surgery

    Are you a Peabody tenant? Want to discuss your rent account?

    We are holding weekly drop-in rent surgery at the Pembury Community Centre. This is an opportunity to ask any questions relating to your rent and we'll be available to advice you.

  • Parking permit holders: renewals

    If your permit is within 1 month of expiry and you have NOT received a renewal form from MET Parking Services, please call them on:

    0845 370 8004 (Mon–Fri, 10am–5pm) or email permits@metparking.com

    Vehicles on estates with parking enforcement must display a valid parking permit or otherwise be subject to a Parking Charge Notice. 

    It's the permit holder's responsibility to renew.

    • Go to galleries, museums and exhibitions including Clothes Show Live
    • Take part in fashion and catwalk shows

    Get support with issues such as accessing care, applying for grants and requesting aids and
    adaptions. Please contact Vanessa Greenstreet, Peabody Support Worker, on

  • Parent looking for education, training or work?

    Our Pembury Pathways project can help.

    Parent Adviser Lorraine Bradshaw-Cole leads the project. She can help you with finding ther right course, thinking through your options, and arranging childcare.

    Lorraine is based at the Pembury Estate Office during office hours, so call her on 020 7021 4864 or drop in to 57 Shellness Road, London E5 8JU.

    Offers children different activities each day, as well as a healthy snack. Children can also be collected from school if needed.

  • Calling All Young Actors

    We need performers aged 11 to 16.

    Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings 7:30 – 8:45 during term time in BSix college Theatre.

    If you like acting, singing, dancing or any other part of theatre, please get in touch.
