Bruce House centre

Bruce House centre

Bruce House is located near the Strand in the City of Westminster. The centre offers a range of skills development opportunities, training advice and help with finding a job. All of our services are delivered by qualified staff, experienced in providing training and support to people who want to improve their chances of finding a job, gain qualifications – or just expand their life skills.

Our services
The centre offers a variety of employment support, including help with CVs, employment workshops and one-to-one sessions. It also offers ESOL, literacy and numeracy qualifications (up to level 2) and IT qualifications (up to level 2). We have a dedicated job support service, with established links to agencies, Jobcentre Plus and local employers. We also provide employability support for residents with disability issues through partnerships such as Leonard Cheshire Disability.

All training courses are a combination of tutor-led and arranged drop-in sessions, where users of the centre can study at their own pace. All the courses we run are accredited and the qualifications we offer are nationally recognised.

The centre delivers a range of funded employment and training support programmes and over the years has developed a strong track record in working with the young people, ex-offenders, vulnerable people and those at risk.

Contact details
The centre is open Monday to Thursday from 9.30am to 5pm, and on Friday from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
