We are currently looking to appoint new contractors to deliver our maintenance service and we want to ensure the way they work is shaped around your requirements and needs.
Always wanting to improve our repairs service, we consulted with you, our residents (general needs and social housing) and our resident review committee in September 2009.
The resident focus groups were asked to consider questions around the following themes:
- flexibility of repair appointment times
- compensation to residents for missed appointment times
- resident recharges
- vulnerable residents repairs policy
- things to consider when working in residents' homes
- training for residents to carry out minor repairs
- handyperson service
The feedback from the groups proved successful in helping us capture requirements for contractors to meet the needs of our residents.
To ensure we have obtained all your feedback we need you to complete a short online questionnaire, answering questions about the finer details of the service, and additional things we may add to the contract.
