In Hammersmith and Fulham, London housing association Peabody has evicted residents from three properties linked to drug dealing and persistent anti-social behaviour.
The properties were located on Fulham estate on Lillie Road, Cleverly estate on Wormholt Road and Hammersmith estate on Fulham Palace Road.
Peabody’s Community Safety Team worked with Hammersmith Broadway, Fulham Broadway and Wormholt and White City Safer Neighbourhood Teams to gather evidence of criminal activity associated with the properties and its impact on local people. Peabody then successfully applied to the court for outright possession of the properties.
Laura England, Peabody Community Safety Officer, said:
"Peabody will not tolerate anti-social behaviour in our homes. Residents have the right to live peacefully without the threat of violence. The local community is now much safer and people can enjoy their homes in peace."
