An official tree planting ceremony will take place on Thursday 16 June to welcome Cumberland Market residents into the Peabody community.

Frank Dobson, MP, and Stephen Howlett, Chief Executive of Peabody, will be planting a tree to mark the occasion.

At this special event other speakers will include Steve Smith, chair of the Residents Association at Cumberland Market.

Councillor Heather Johnson, ward councillor and Deputy Mayor of Camden and Councillors Nasim Ali and Tulip Sidique have also been invited.

Residents will be welcomed with drinks and refreshments in the Tenant’s Hall at 10am, where they will get to meet Peabody’s executive team, followed by the tree planting ceremony at 10.30am.
