Volunteers from Peabody’s Sundial Centre were awarded Volunteer Group of 2009 at a special event held by Peabody to thank volunteers across London for their outstanding contributions.
SAGE (Senior Age) were awarded Volunteer Group of 2009 in recognition of their work to improve the lives of older people living in Tower Hamlets. Members of the group organise day trips, fundraising, social events and activities for older people in their community.
