Residents’ conference 2009 - Better Together

This years' conference, Better Together, is themed around improving your neighbourhood, which will include championing community safety, developing facilities and services in your area, and enhancing the estate environment. There will be opportunities to put forward your views or ideas.

The day will include:

• Three discussion groups held in the morning – you will pick the topic you will like to discuss (including a separate discussion group for young people):
• Group one – safer neighbourhoods
• Group two – developing community initiatives
• Group three – locally-managed neighbourhoods
• Group four - managing your money
  
  
• Questions to chief executive and key staff during the question and answer session
  
  
• A photography exhibition, ‘Celebrating Your Community’ – send in photos and information on neighbourhood events and community projects that you are especially proud of, to Genevie George, email:genevie.george@peabody.org.uk or tel: 0207 021 4013.
  
  
• A free buffet lunch
  
  
• The opportunity to meet other residents and Peabody employees
  
  
• Free access to the Zoo after the conference (12.30pm)
