24housing magazine last year launched a search to find the housing sector’s future leaders. Last week, the magazine announced that nominations had been judged and narrowed down to the top 12.
Among the 12 is Peabody’s Volunteer Co-ordinator, Yolanda Sissing. According to 24housing, the magazine was inundated with candidates and judges were “wowed by the quality of submissions.”
Housing professionals now have until 18 February to vote for their choice on 24dash, the magazine’s website.
The top five candidates will be interviewed in 24housing – and a final winner will be chosen by a panel of experts later in the year. The winner will be awarded a Young Leader trophy and will also receive a place on a leadership course provided by Reed Learning.
24housing Editor Jon Land, said: "The quality of nominations was exceptional so to get the field down from nearly 50 to a shortlist of 12 has been an extremely challenging task. We believe those that have made it through all demonstrate the potential to become our first Young Leader of the Year. But now it's time for you to decide who should appear in the final five."
