Peabody takes part in green Q&A

17 January 2011

Late last year the government announced it would look into developing a community energy fund to help make sure new homes built after 2016 were carbon neutral. However, it has also been criticised for scrapping energy efficiency standards imposed by the last government.

Earlier this month, Peabody announced the rollout of its plan to install solar panels on blocks and houses.

Against this backdrop, the Guardian is hosting a live Q&A on its housing network blog today, 17 January, between 12pm and 3pm. Nic Wedlake, Peabody’s Environmental Sustainability Manager, will be answering questions alongside other housing and sustainability experts.
