After his death in 1869, our founder George Peabody was temporarily laid to rest in Westminster Abbey, before he was returned to Massachusetts, USA.
As part of our 150th anniversary celebrations, there will be a multi-faith service at Westminster Abbey, celebrating his life and the work and achievements of Peabody.
If you're a Peabody resident, you will receive an invitation to the service, which takes place at
11am, Thursday 29 March.
The service lasts for approximately one hour.
To ensure your place at this very special event, we suggest you return your RSVP postcard as soon as you can. You'll then receive a ticket, which you'll need to bring on the day.
You'll receive your invitation in the post.
If it hasn't arrived by 3 February, you can email our events manager
Nicola Langley-Essen (please put Westminster Abbey in the subject header) or call 020 7021 4693.
