If you were near Peabody’s Wild Street estate on Monday 31 October, you might have glimpsed some ghosts, vampires, pirates, superheroes and a few other characters...
...if you did, fear not - that was the Wild Street estate’s Halloween party!
Home-made decorations, some made by the children at the Garden Club in the weeks leading up the party, transformed the court-yard, where everyone enjoyed playing games and eating tasty food.
Yvette Van Giap, Chair of the Residents Association, said:
“Everyone had a wonderful time, the weather was good, mums, dads and grand-parents brought down food and all the children came in costumes. The following Wednesday at our Garden Club we had a children's meeting and they all said it was the best party ever.”
Further exciting events are being planned by the residents – we are looking forward to hearing more!
