We are pleased to let you know that Peabody is extending the expiry date of residents parking permits to 31 March 2010 in respect of all vehicles, including motorbikes.
The current residents parking permits will be valid until 31 March 2010 and not 31 December 2009 as previously advised and detailed on your permit.
Parking permit holders are not required to do anything to extend their permits.
This decision has been taken to improve the current system. We received feedback from residents who were concerned that new permits not arriving in time because of the Christmas post. By changing the permit validity period to 1 April to 31 March, we avoid the inevitable postal delay associated with the Christmas holidays.
All resident parking permit holders will be contacted at least one month prior to the expiry of the existing parking permits to arrange renewal of the permit.
Any parking permit holders who have not received a new permit by 1 April 2010 must contact Peabody Direct or London Parking Control, tel: 0844 800 4764, prior to this date, to avoid being clamped.
