Net Worx, our project tackling the "digital divide" between those who are making the most of technology and those who are missing out, celebrated its second birthday on 4 April.

Volunteers and learners met at the
Seven Dials Club in Covent Garden to look back over the past two years, and to look forward, as we continue our mission to get 80% of our residents online by the end of 2012.
A Net Worx learner explained how using the internet meant she'd saved money by shopping online.
Another spoke of being able to contact relatives abroad, at a cheap rate, thanks to learning about
Skype.

We heard from Chief Executive Steve Howlett, and Executive Director New Business Stephen Burns gave out several awards, recognising the contribution and achievements of Net Worx.
And we saw the premiere of the Net Worx video, which you can watch here:
"I go to Net Worx and I've learnt a lot," said Andrew, a Net Worx learner.
"I email family and I've learnt Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and I also get to meet new people."
