Looking to buy an affordable home in London?

22 December 2011

FIRST STEPS is a free to use service for first time buyers looking to buy or rent an affordable home in London. It is run by two of London's largest housing providers: London and Quadrant and Metropolitan Home Ownership.

If you want to find out more information, you can attend one of the sessions taking place across London in January and February 2012.

These are primarily for council and housing association tenants and armed forces personnel, but anyone can come along.

Each session will consist of a presentation on everything needed to know about buying a home through FIRST STEPS.

You'll be informed of your options and you'll receive hints and tips on ways to find the most suitable home.

The presentations will be given by a member of the FIRST STEPS team and an independent financial adviser who will give advice on the financial side to buying a home and raising a mortgage.

After the presentation you'll have the opportunity to ask questions over a cup of tea and to pick up leaflets and information on what new homes are available.
