Make this fireworks night one to remember for the right reasons! Rather than putting on a disappointing display of shop-bought fireworks yourself, go with friends and family to one of the many professional firework displays across London.
You can contact your local council or visit their website for details of fireworks displays in your borough. Alternatively you can find more information from the Visit London website.
Fireworks displays on Peabody estates
Most entertainment events such as fireworks displays require a licence, therefore we won’t be granting permission for any groups to hold fireworks displays on any of our estate.
We’ll be keeping the estates clear of bulky items this month. If you spot dumped rubbish or bulky items, know of anybody letting off fireworks dangerously or damaging your area to build bonfires, or causing nuisance relating to fireworks and bonfires, please contact Peabody Direct, our customer service team, on 020 7021 4444 or report it via our website here.
We’ll take action against any misuse of fireworks!
Find out about the rules around fireworks from Directgov and the London Fire Brigade.
What to do in the event of a fire
If there is a fire, stay calm and raise the alarm. Move as quickly as possible. Don't try to pick up valuables or possessions. If necessary call the fire brigade on 999 and clearly state the address of the fire.
Find out more about fire safety here.
Have fun and be safe by visiting an organised display near you.
