In December 2009, the Audit Commission carried out a short notice inspection of some of the services we provide to residents.
These inspections are a routine part of the work done on behalf of our regulator, the Tenant Services' Authority, to make sure we deliver good and improving services.
The inspectors concentrated on three important service areas; gas servicing, day to day repairs and resident involvement.
Within these inspected areas, they also looked at our approach to access and customer care, how we shape our services to reflect the needs of residents from diverse groups and how we deliver value for money.
At the beginning of February we sent all residents a newsletter summarising the Audit Commission’s findings (PDF, 163KB)). This included a letter to residents from the Audit Commission (PDF, 27KB).
You can read the full Audit Commission report (PDF, 224KB).
We are now inviting residents to give us their views to help us develop our Action Plan, to address the opportunities for improvement, identified as a result of the inspection.
Tell us what you think by completing the online survey. Survey now closed.
Note: The closing date for submitting your completed survey form is Monday, 15 February 2010.
