Greenheath Business Centre: development proposals now available

15 February 2011

Peabody is preparing a planning application to build 67 new homes on the site of the Greenheath Business Centre in Bethnal Green, Tower Hamlets. We’re working in partnership with Workspace Group – a leading provider of commercial property – who is seeking to refurbish the business centre as part of the development.

Our proposals include a mixture of homes for affordable rent, shared ownership and private sale. All of them will be designed to a high environmental standard, meeting the Code for Sustainable Homes level 4 – and the refurbished business centre will offer ideal accommodation for local businesses.

At our exhibition on Thursday 10 February, we showcased our plans to local residents and businesses – and we’re now using the comments we received to help improve the design of the scheme.
